October: Our Everyday Adventures Via the IPhone

October filled my heart so full. We had a visit from grandma. It was simply the best to have her company and to take her to all my favorite places. Although we didn’t knock off all the tourist hot spots, we focused on enjoying cups of coffee and long lunches!

Ada is a Girl Scout this year so she helped out at her schools annual Pumpkin Festival. Where she also won the donut eating contest. Mae ate a rice krispie the size of her face (which of course she was thrilled with). We took a leisurely family hike on Lamma Island where we ended with a delicious sea food lunch (the girls think calamari is fried chicken) what they don’t know doesn’t hurt them right? And the girls celebrated Halloween at school dressed as their favorite book character (aka a costume we already had that matched a book), and they were able to do some trick or treating as a watermelon and the tooth fairy.

The consensus is Halloween is much better with cousins who we missed so much! Plus the candy is WAY better State side. Just sayin.
